16 Oct SmartWork research on ‘What users want’ to be presented to the Sheld-on Network
Willeke Van Staalduinen, of SmartWork partner Caritas Coimbra, will join researchers from different countries at the second meeting of the Sheld-on multidisciplinary network, taking place this week in Ohrid, Macedonia, 16-17 October 2019.
Willeke will present a SmartWork scientific article on Day 2: “What users want – research on workers, employers and caregivers demands on SmartWork AI system”, authored by Willeke, Carina Dantas and Sofia Ortet also from Caritas Coimbra.
The Sheld-on network is supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) to focus on smart habitat for the elderly and the development of solutions that allow older persons to live safely, comfortably, and healthily at home through integrating design, ICT, ergonomics and health knowledge into furniture and building design.
This is an excellent opportunity for Willeke to promote the SmartWork project to an audience with a keen interest in living and working environments that enable older workers to have a higher quality of life and professional activity.
